im thinking falcon open sights would fit the aimx. the rear sight sits on the rail and the front is on like a collar with a grub screw. brocock could make something similar or even make the front one threaded.

Not gonna be very back garden friendly though (unless you have no neighbours) with that short barrel + no silencer facility + mucho power = LOUD!

I'd be very interested in this pistol, I already have an Aim X in .22, great pistol, but I've hankered for open sights and it being a little shorter.

I appears that this has a bull barrel, which I assume is to silence it somewhat, has anyone actually had the opportunity to shoot this pistol yet?

I'm told that Brocock are working on the open sights as we speak/type, but I don't think they are working that hard, if you know what I mean .

Regarding the Atomic, I've been told that the one at the show was a mock up & is something that should be going into production in the next few weeks to a month. I was also told that it will be cheaper than the Aim X, but not the reason why it would be so.

I've also been told that the Contender rifle will be available cheaper, with a less expensive stock. The skeleton walnut stocked model will still be available though.

Possibly one or two Atomics in Field Accessories, Kidderminster, tomorrow sometime, but possibly only in .22".

Looks like .22 only in the first batch.
Now I've handled one, I can see why it's been made shorter than the orginal Aim-X - the barrel is much thicker so the front sight can be screwed to it and the balance would be dreadful if it was the original length.

According to my local shop, the Atomic in .177" won't be available for a few months.
