cool... is there any air comps on there?
The British women have won the Team 50m Prone event at the European Championships in Croatia:
Great Britain Gold 1774
Johanne Brekke 593, Michelle Smith 591, Sharon Lee 590
Finland Silver 1773
Germany Bronze 1771
Congratulations to all 3 team members.
It also means that Sharon Lee has now won medals at 3 European Championships; Sofia 1997, Granada 2007 and this year's event; a feat unsurpassed by any other British woman shooter.

Georgina "Gorgs" Geikie made it to the final in the Ladies 25M Pistol today, but slipped during the final from her qualifying position of 6/8 to 7/8.
Nevertheless, making it to the final at such an event is a tall order in itself, and given the limitations on her training (i.e. going to Switzerland), it is an excellent result for her.

Shooting is my meditation
Congratulations to our shooters. As with cricket, the British ladies seem to be a superb team. Considering that they live under a regime that dislikes the shooting sports and puts obstacles in their way, our shooters have done a great job.
