Done my bit for the BBS: http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....-being-a-mod-… now I’m a game-keeper turned poacher.
Nice start. Only recognise the SMLE but the sling don't look right.
Keep up the good work.
Hi,
good collection! I decided to thin my collection out over the last few weeks...tomorrow I'm going to look at two more rifles!! It never ends-you are doomed!
You know you want to swap the SMLE for my BSA Mercury........
This bloke started out wanting just one military trainer air rifle. Then he tried to stop at 20. Now look....

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
I might be interested in trading for a hurricane pistol
Does anyone have any idea what the rifle and bayonet might be worth?
I'm not interested in selling it, just wandering. The rifle shoots straight, works perfectly.ammo very hard to find(303)
These sell for around £250-£300 in Britain if they are still classed as firearms ie not deactivated. You can add around £50 for the long 1907 pattern bayonet and webbing sling.

I like the Lee Enfield......nice with bayonet aren't they!
Freedom needs a soldier.
I like mine, the barrel looks brand new no rust or pitting.
Is the ammo any easier to find in the UK?
A friend of mine shoots the 0.303 Enfield No 4 (which came after the SMLE). He has been unable to find surplus ammo for some time, so has to buy PPU made ammunition for £50 per 100. He also has a German Mauser (7.92mm) and can buy (very dirty) surplus ammo by the bucketful for next to nothing. Very odd.
