not bad i spose
I've always known that my TX200 (HC) was accurate but this is ridiculous - ignoring the flier (!) the slightly larger hole is in fact a 10 shot group. Range was 25yds and the pellets H&N Match (cos I had some lying around).
Here
Bloomin' excellent rifles!

Not bad, not bad.
Try it at 35 yards and let us know how you get on

Just curious, what hold/technique do you use to shoot your TX HC?
I've found with my TX, a relaxed hold, letting the rifle sit in my leading hands palm, cheekpiece barely touching my cheek, and butt pad only just touching my shoulder/jacket..and most importantly letting the rifle recoil freely without undue interference from myself..
I find follow-through hard though, the recoil sends the crosshairs off aim, if you then hold the rifle so it stays on aim, you contradict the fact that the best way to shoot a springer is to let it recoil naturally..
Main bad points about the TX is the fact that it weighs too much and is single shot, apart from that it is amazingly accurate for a sping powered rifle.
Happy shooting with yours.
I tend to hold my TX quite firmly - like I do with a PCP. By contrast, my HW95K groups best with a very light hold. I think the weight of the TX acts in it's favour by damping the recoil.
I'm glad their so accurate as after the Christmas nonsense is over I'll be getting a HC in .177 for myself .
I reckon the secret with any springer is to hold it exactly the same, ALL the time, every shot. The only way to do this is to let it have it's head completely. If I hold mine a little bit tighter, it shoots slightly low. The tighter the hold, the lower the shot.
My Mk3 HC does that at 35 yards if I do my bit.
Accurate as that with only a 7 inch barrel, a slight difference to the 21 inch job on my HW35E.
