If it moves.....shoot it!..If it don't move.....shoot it in case it tries to!!!
Light travels faster than sound....this is why I appear bright until you hear me speak!!!
I use a ROHM Twinmaster Top with open sights, 177.... Have made a few changes, like taken the power up a bit, but getting very good results, top pistol...
Have also use the Attomic in 177 with open sights, good results with that as well until it started going wrong...

It’s sometimes best to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid rather than open your mouth and dispel all doubt…
BSA Scorpion! I used open sights for a while but the old eyes and all that.
Our club shoots a very hard version of pistol HFT with 15mm reducers and targets out to 25 yards. We fire 4 shots at 15 targets - ie out of 120.
The top boys use Rohms or Steyrs and can get 110+.
With open sights I averaged about 60ish, switching to a scope boosted my last score to 78 - which I was well pleased with, not bad for a 1970's pistol with a kick like a mule

You come into this world with nothing, go out in debt and you've made a profit
Any more info on shooting Pistol HFT?
Sorry to disappoint but I've never shot pistol HFT, only pistol FT in the NEFTA winter league. I don't shoot a lot of HFT so don't get the chance to have a go. Apart from being run alongside the UKAHFT comps which I've never been to, it doesn't seem to be big in this region.

I used to use my HW45 Silver Star but I have just bought a Webley Alecto in .177 so I'll be using that from now on.
He who dies with the most toys wins. Flying, shooting, fishing and sports cars, what more could a man want.
whats the difference between pistol FT and HFT?
im realy keen to have a go at either if i can only find a club.
Ahh that old british underdog spirit
Thats what it is mate, of course myself being scottish means my reason for not entering the pcp world is just being a tight fisted jock!!!!

Aye...an' it's no even fresh, it's tinned...
I've been using a Brocock Atomic .22, which has been pretty good for HFT. Alot of the people at my club use Rhom Twinmaster Top's in .177.
