Accurate - Powerful, Diana Series 70 - Maybe not???

    Hi all,
Can anyone give me any info on a rifle I have just added to my collection. It is a .22 Diana Series 70, Model 79, made in Great Britain. The box describes it as accurate and powerful. I think when they described it as such they were having a laugh weren't they?? I know it isn't a cannon but it is pushing out between 6.4 and 7.4 ftlbs dependant on pellet. Any idea what would be expected from a new one.
    Cheers,
    Ken

Hi Ken......I don't know when the trades description act came in here in the UK, but many makers were guilty of "over egging the cake" when it came to advertising copy.....
