I'd hazard a guess that the one on the right has been 'cut and shut'.

The one you thought may be a "T" standard has the last pattern cocking pivot, but is a 46 thousand series "S", with a straight hand stock....I got this a while ago at a very reasonable price, and it matches my sporting for accuracy, just one of those good'uns (shooting wise) that appears from time to time. I have a number 8 sight waiting to go this when time allows.
