    Hw 40 or Alecto ??

    Out of the Hw 40 and the alecto .... Which is best for all round ????

    No Contest mate, out of the two it's the Alecto all day. I've had mine for a couple of weeks now and it's fantastic...

    Although not as nice to shoot as my Gamo Compact but you didn't ask about them..

    Again it's the Alecto hands down, but before the Alecto came along, the HW40 was sitting pretty at the top as a sub £200 pile. with the compact nipping at it's heels.
    Fancy shooting your air pistols & rifles a bit more, then guy's & gal's come visit us at the
    UBC for loads of fun competitions for all types of air pistols and rifles.

    Alecto for the win

    The HW40 I tried had a slightly nicer trigger than the Alecto but the Alecto has better grips, adjustable palm shelf, better sights (IMO for my arm length) 3 power levels and is easier to pump for the first pump (Very very very easy to do one pump, effortless)

    So yeah Alecto.

    But the HW40 is still a good pistol and cheaper. It has a great trigger. I think If you got one you'd want an Alecto eventually though
