Couldn't agree more , old chap. Pistol shooters are much too refined to go rolling about in the mud wearing camouflage and looking like armed, overdeveloped & unsightly speed bumps. Many a bon mot is exchanged between us pistoleros in epigrammatic mode between rounds of fire.
Are you really studying physics, Sol? That's great!
Did you know that Jan's father was a rocket scientist? No joke, I mean he literally was a rocket scientist. He's still alive, but retired. William Ames Davis. He worked with people like Werner von Braun, getting America's missile program started.
Interesting how an ability or inclination skips generations. Neither Jan nor her two siblings (both of them are real estate agents) went into the sciences. But one of his grandsons (Jan's sister's son) went into physics and works in that capacity.

It would be nice to have the choice, though !
In my opinion, both spelling and grammar are important because the correct use of each makes it easier for you to be understood. Over the years, English has become the "leading language of international discourse" (Ref.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_language). It is taught in schools and colleges around the world - this is something we should all be proud of. In fact, it's gr8!

Try running this through it.
I have a spell chequer,
I use it all the thyme,
To see I've got the spelling rite,
When I try to right in rime.
I have a spell chequer,
It gets used every knight,
Before I put my phials away,
To sea I've spelt things write.

That's a good one! However, I still think it is only fare that people should be aloud to use there spell chequers; knot to do so would be plane silly...
That's vary good advise.
