ive used lee molds on .44 and .36 for pistol and musket and there great, i was told there not very robust but ive done thousands of each and there still going great, the slug i make was out of an expencive mold though
just curious if anyone used any lee molds with any success,,,,,if so which one please.
i know i will have to slug the bore then re-size the bullet etc. or do they buy them ready made etc

If you have a Mk 4 MH they are usually around 0.466 in groove size,mine is.
You can patch up a 45/70 bullet or get a custom mould,which I have!
The Lee moulds are OK for what they cost.

Do Lee now make a mould suitable for 577-450, or will you just patch one of their 45-70 bullets?
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
i would imagine patch, but you can get moulds for any size, there is a great australian company on the web too
Loiner, I use a Lee mold for my ROA, did you get a melting pot? If not come round and try mine when you buy a mold. Are you on for Tuesday night this week?
