    Haenel Model 28 Valuation please...

    Hi All,

Now this pistol is now up and fully working, I would appreciate ideas on valuation please.

It's in great condition, fires great, wooden grips with both the Haenel 'buttons' in and the rare'ish rifled barrel.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers, Duncan

I saw two at the Twin Oaks carboot sale last year in similar condition for £110- they both sold but whether the bloke moved on the price I don't know

This is an example of a vintage model that has relatively low value in the UK but is much sought after in Germany. Haenel 28s, especially rarer variations, regularly make good money on egun. See HERE for instance. It also has a rifled barrel.

Hi Garvin.....I saw a cracker today at the fleamarket, and found an old boy who sells there a lot....he bought it at £140 and was very happy!

A really nice example, and the first that I have actually held in my hand.

I though rifled barrels were the more common and smooth bore were rarer.

I have had a few pass through my hands - all rifled, as is the one in my collection.
