FS: Percussion muff pistol
From my valuation thread earlier - trying here for a quick sale before I stick it on guntrader or take it to the auction rooms.
Following on from the advice I am putting this up at a competitive price to sell: Price drop - Final price drop £140 posted £130 collected, paypal accepted, but add 2% for fees.
Had this a few years, but it just sits in a drawer at the inlaws house, never even taken it home so I might sell it. Cant see anywhere that it looks right as an ornament and I'm unlikely to ever fire it!
Has a vacant escutcheon, birmingham proof marks. Cocks and engages sear perfectly. Would certainly be functional.
Barrel unscrews, seems to slightly overturn when fully screwed in as the actagonal barrel doesn't quite line up with the reciever lines (see pics). Thats a pretty minor point and easily fixed
Overall I would judge this to be in very good condition for the age (1850 ish?), but be aware I have little to no experience of these things so look at the pics.

All original screws an no chip or cracks in the grip?

As far as I am aware mate. No signs of any chips or cracks at all. I've never had it out of the grips.
