Looking at the Buxted scores at the AA Memorial, is it worth even shooting Sunday??
Maybe we should move straight on to the 'Oakie' prize of the team winners....

    Roll on that wind! XX

    Hi everyone

Not long since I got back home, after two back-to-back 9 hour days doing our best to put together some sort of course for your fun tomorrow.

Totally kn*ckered and will almost certainly be in my ususal zombie state come the morning (assuming I wake up )

Big thanks to the crew - Gerry, Eli, Dave and Mike and Kerry. M&K came down later than they'd intended, to get the marquee and booking-in tent erected, after a day I am absolutely certain they will be wishing never to repeat (though they did save a guy's life in the process )

I do hope what you find down at Swallows tomorrow provides some fun. For lovers of great numbers of hugely long range targets ....... you'll probably be disappointed. Likewise those of you who like to be able to see targets clearly.

FINAL WARNING ..... while I have been able to clear most of the shooting points with brush cutter and strimmer, this has left a significant residue of mulched nettles and thistles. To add to this are more than the average number of trip hazards and hidden ditches, etc. I strongly recommend that shorts and t-shirts are NOT the order of the day.

For all those who choose to ignore this RULE SEVEN applies.

See you in the morning. I'm orf to find something to eat and then head for a long soak in the bath.
