Sucks
One of the most obvious misuses of the word "mint" that I can recall: pre-WW2 MK1 pistol with post-WW2 barrel.
In any case, the body has lots of tiny bumps etc, and other signs of use.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

The serial number quoted in the description appears to differ from that shown on the image.

Yet another JC Militaria accurately described bargain.
JCM often use the ambiguous wording "great condition" to describe a gun!The level of subjectivity then available used unashamedly in their favour of course.

Another description that confuses me is: 'excellent condition for age'

Crossman 600 for nearly £600, I know they're desirsable but come on!!!!!!

I know JC is expensive, but at least they are available from him. Many people aren't prepared to wait until a cheaper one comes up on here, or are unaware of this and similar websites. We should consider ourselves lucky that we have this Forum on which to "talk" and buy/sell our guns etc.
Life is to be enjoyed, not endured.
On that well known auction site, from the same source, is an orange Webley pellet tin .22 250 contents (inc)
with a Birmingham 21 address. So, I imagine quite late.
At the moment with 3 days to go it's at £72 with 30 bids from 6 bidders (all private)!
