Things can get a bit confused because the basic scope now called the Hawke "Sport" used to be called the "Eclipse"& cost £40 ish.
While there is a newer scope called the "Eclipse 30", with a 30mm tube, that costs around £200.
So if its got a 30mm tube it could be worth more? I think and I'll check tomorrow when I get the rifle back that it is the older version tho,
Thanks for the help

I am not sure what the last of the Eclipse 25mm tubes were like but the earlier 3-9x50AOIR with the red only illumination were IMO absolutely fantastic, clear crisp optics and offered everything for the 12ft/lbs hunter. Even used one on my .22lr for a spell before the Burris.
In all i have had four, bent tube on one when fell over, two went with guns i sold and the last one i was strapped for bit of cash and stupidly sold it for a few sobs Never seemed that popular for whatever reason

Its not a bad scope to be honest ,its just not for me im more of a mtc kind of guy
