    Looking for supplier .362 ball

Having trouble trying to get hold of .362 lead balls for my muzzle loader, have tried Kranks non in stock for at least 3 months. Anyone any other ideas to who has these in stock?

    cheers. Dougie

    Wink

Right wrote to H&N in Germany about their .362 lead swagged balls, they no longer export to Blighty, however they put me onto a outlet in Germany that does send them out to customers in the UK.

The upside is they can send 400 for €39 which is about £34 including postage, which is far cheaper than Kranks if they had the pedisolli ones in stock £31 plus postage for 200!!! Happy dayz....:-))

Lovely gun mate, good luck with your search for balls. Have you thought about making your own.??
Dead easy to do with an outlay of less than a hundred quid. Tim.

I have a .362 mould for the ball for my History #1, it was made by Jeff Tanner, who was mentioned earlier in the thread.

I do have a .362 mould by JT just don't have the time to make any at the moment, and I usually make them outside in the yard so weathers against me as well.
Just an update on costs of importing the balls, the postage I gave was incorrect!!!! It came back at €15 so it's worked out at £21 per bag of 200 still cheaper than Kranks. Great service from 'Stopper' nice people to deal with and tracked package DHL.

Yup, and after ~500 or so you've paid for it all......

After that, it's materials only. Plus, of course, your own time.

Might be worth asking Peter Starley. He carried all sorts of odd calibres and wot not.

    Cast Balls

I know a guy who casts for other people. Unfortunately, I don't know if he actually does .362 but it must be worth a phone call. I'm sure he'll be cheaper than H&N!

His name is Terry Pearce and number's 01483 836921.
