It shoots really nicely, and with good accuracy, and apart from a few scuffs on the woodwork, mostly where it's been rested on things, is in very good condition.
Too powerful???!!! I don't think there's much danger of you being accused of having a WMD in your hands.
If in really nice condition the rifle could be worth £40. Maybe even £50
I remember these being sold as a kit called the Rangemaster, supplied with targets, pellets and a scope in the Marshal Ward catalogue in the late 1970s.
Is it a repeater, or a single shot? If a repeater, add about £10-£20 to the above value.
