    What an awful tragedy.

Rest in peace, Martin, this place is the poorer for your passing.

Thoughts for his wife and children. Appalling news.

Very sad news. Martin and I swapped many p-ms over the years, as I spent three years living and working in Altrincham in the 1980s, and we knew and shared many stories about the area -- like the café on Sinderland Road (now gone) where I used to eat on my way to work most days, as did Martin, and that it was the owner of said greasy spoon who first got Martin into shooting ... RIP mate, and condolences to your family and friends.

    Gareth W-B.
