Rules state Recoiling Class ...... All recoiling rifles whatever calibre
So if it recoils its ok
But as i know nothing about springers best get somebody who does answer
Pete
ah just been educated by my spotty house guest. Rammer and Springer are recoiling - things like TXSR and Whiscomes don't recoil. Either way heathen technology.
Ditch it and get a PCP
thanks guys

I think, when you top boys have the gathering......you should all use springers.
now, i'd think that would be interesting, and so would you, i would imagine.
No it wouldn't.Originally Posted by andy_scouser

Taking an idea from the formula proposed by AG or AGW a few years ago, would it make the team competition more interesting if one of the five scores for each team had to be with a springer? It might help build up the springer class too.

Just started to learn how to use a Theoben gas ram, and it's not as bad as i first thought , I must say if i do dreadful at this years 3 HFT events i have entered for in PcP, i might just give it a go.

after your answer to my original question, Pete, should'nt they be referred to as "recoilers", not springers ?

It is called the 'recoiling' class as you originally noted. We call 'em all springers as it's a nicer word than recoilers and we also tend to be old fashioned about these things.Originally Posted by airgundog
Pete, point taken although I suspect that's choice for HFT rather than not shooting springers at all.

Is there a .177 & .22 recoiling class in HFT, or is it one class for all recoiling guns.
