I'm very impressed that's great workmanship. I have been looking for a nice pair normal straight grip wooden ones for my 1911a1 but not prepared to pay £50 that's often quoted. Wish I had your talent.

Well you are in luck because Andy makes straight Colt grips for a very reasonable price.
He made me a set which I am very pleased with.
PM him for details.
That's a smart job Andy Personally, I'd probably prefer the black gun screws, matching the other black bits on the pistol
I must contact you about some grips myself

Very nice matey.
Good deals with these members
Thanks lads i like some of my grips a little different i think the wrap round grips really suit the colt, i used the stainless screws as i wanted them to stand out on this pistol the black ones just blended in a little too much, sniper24687066 Troy ive made a start on your grips this afternoon mate i`ll send you pics soon,

Ta.
I like Andy's grips as they are clearly handmade out of walnut.
No shiny cnc stuff.
My Colt grips look like they have been on it since 1911.
No offence Andy!
Superb buddy,
Real talent you have there. They look great...
