Took me a while to realise that you meant Ebay, quite an odd search for Epain!

But clicked on that can't go wrong at the price think it will be an interesting read, so thanks!

    Thumbs up

    Was the seller paulmorgan-cochybonddu-books?

As I just bought the last one for £12.45+1p P&P !!

It says "GAS, AIR & SPRING GUNS OF THE WORLD
    Stackpole Classic Gun Book Series
    by W.H.B. Smith

(1957) 2009 facsimile edition. Large format, viii + 279 page hardback. B/w photographs, illustrations and charts.
    Fine new unread hardback."

The 'Facsimile edition' makes me think it's going to be a b&w copy

    Yes that's right.

Well I hope Facsimile means a recent reprint now the book is out of copyright hence not a late edition or the original (1957)

Or we should both immediately ensure that our fax machines have plenty of paper loaded!!

Yes John, that's the one. I've bought one, I had one years ago but loaned it out never to see it again.

    Oh Dear

Just trained my tame postman to leave 'signed for' items in my re-cycle bin, then stick a note in my letterbox. 'So what' I hear you all say, well we also trained our neighbour to put the bins out, if we are away....

    You can guess the rest

    Well!

I received my copy and was pleased to find out it was a 'proper' book rather than one of those photocopied rubish ones that i bought off fleabay a few years ago!!!

Mine came within a couple of days, I'm happy with it, I has good coverage of the early (18th /19th C) stuff. The seller seems to have sold a fair few of them, I looked this evening and he's listed some more.

    Ha ha!!

I once bought two airgun book from fleabay and when they arrived they were the 'orrie ones that were photocopied on to very thin paper!!

I left negative feedback to dissuade others from parting with their cash and blow me (not literally!) eeebaygum refunded me in full!!
