I vaguely remember buying it from Dennis Hiller, he had dozens of them, when he had his shop in Whittle-le-Woods. I often went there with no intention of buying owt but coming away with summat.

Excellent Gevaret pneumatic pump up: 5.4mm ball (yes, 5.4 not 4.4mm)
We bought it not knowing anything about it; never even heard of it. It would not work.
Pump is akin to a bicycle pump on the front of the action, inlet valve is basically an old style bicycle tyre valve .. the old type with a rubber sleeve on it. Exhaust valve a pretty simple rubber disc similar to that from a water tank ball valve. Setting it up correctly is a matter if trial and error to get the sealing correct, but once done the power is quite impressive at about 8 - 10 pumps. and this was using 5.5mm pellets sized down to 5.4mm as I could not find any 5.4mm lead ball (they still make them but are not available in UK; most likely available in Sweden / Norway but the shops I visited did not have them). Quite an oddity.
Cheers, Phil
Was an article in AGW a year or to back that had a similar system, that was Sweadish, think it was an Article by John Millewski( sorry if I spelt your name wrong Sir) 5.4 mm pellets again maybe it was a marketing ploy a bit like Sheridan used to do, thanks for your inputt.
Hi,
I have a thing for early British spring powered air pistols with the A.G.Parker Crank Wound Air Pistol, Cogswell & Harrison Certus and Lincoln Jeffries being the most odd I have in my present collection.
