Simple, use gamo lead bbs. No ricochets like pellets and at only around £2.50 a tin I recall of 500 from JSR they're hardly expensive.

That`s what i am using,they are ok but in my pistol they have a wider spread than steel BBs, this is my first CO2 pistol so i don`t know really what`s good or bad at least it`s not spat back at me yet Gordon.

Gamo lead balls can be very variable. I've tried them in my Webley and they are no better than steel bbs and definitely worse than pellets.
The Webley is hardly a target pistol, but as far as possible,I do like inaccuracy to be due to me, rather than the gun.

Gamo rlb are very tight in the bore of my Webley. You should be using steel bb or H&N copper coated rlb in 4.4mm.
These are a perfect fit and shoot the tightest groups of all the bb I have tried.

Gamo 4.5mm £4.49 x 500. Looks like i will be using steel, i`m ok at home iv`e got 12yds into my shed, wait till my wife goes off to Bingo then there`s only me to be hit with any rick o shea`s

Just picked up one of these, what an excellent pistol.

If you have access to a small lathe the urethane bullet nose can be shortened, but..
You must pull the nose from the shell ,shorten the narrow end by 2mm, shorten the shoulder by 2mm, then recess the very end by 2mm. I have done this to 2 sets of DW shells.
This is the only way to do it.

It must be cool out there today Patrick.........I chronoed mine in 'the shed' last week at 12 degrees and got a nominal 400 fps out of the first 2 cylinders full, with Umarex steel bb.
OR.......were you using lead. ?

I am pleased to hear you are using the correct shooting stance for this pistol young Patrick.
One handed ,with the weak hand resting on your hip. Good man, keep it up.......tickety boo and all that.

Anyone seen to be using the modern 'Weaver' stance with this revolver will be flogged at dawn......you have been warned.
