There's a thread up that lidl are selling one for £16.99
Slowly getting my reloading kit cobbled together, in terms of case cleaning I am thinking US for now and add a tumbler later.
On a bit of a budget but found this model on Amazon

Anybody use one or something in a similar price bracket that they could recommend?
Off out tonight to try the first set of Hornet rounds I've loaded based on the data that came with the gun, fingers crossed they shoot well!
Thanks all

I have a lower spec JPL cleaner - no heater, only 1 litre, but It works very well on .38spl cases. The 8050 should be even better, and that is a good price too.
The really cheapies have a low power transducer, and only a light duty cycle (=ratio of run time to cooling time).

Maplin have got some of the cleaners on special offer: http://www.maplin.co.uk/search?text=Ultrasonic+Cleaners
I bought the 7000 model a month or so ago to clean .45 ACP cases. It takes a bit of time, but it seems to clean the cases pretty well.
I have the exact same model as the OP.
Works very well and has been in regular use for around five years.
Only problem is that some of the resin broke away from around the vibrator, but this was after two years or more, and it still works the same.
If it ever gives up I would buy another.
From Monday....

This is the Hornady one for half the price, aka the JPL 8050. I've cleaned around a thousand deprimed cases in it, and couldn't be happier. Do 25 cases at a time, they won't shine like tumbled brass, but they're clean.

I have one of these and its the best thing I got for the workshop.
243/17/20tac/6mmbr/and 308 cases come out like new.
6mmbrbob.
Try searching for "220V 0.55Gallon/2.5L 170W Digital Ultrasonic" on that other place, then compare against the Hornady for £130...

Looks different to the Hornady one at my local RFD (Dauntseys) but identical to the Lyman one and the JPL one that I originally asked about. The only thing that worries me anout the ones is that they are coming direct from China so no warranty, worth a punt at the price though possibly.

Out of interest how long roughly do they take to clean cases?
It's all forgotten now, but Rockers and Mods only started fighting as the Rockers were annoyed at having some of their comments removed
