    What is the serial number?
I have ser. no. 374470 (no safety) which is, I believe, from 1970 if the lists of HW numbers is correct.
    Cheers, Phil

Someone on Facebook had recently acquired a 35 with a serial that began 17 and was six digits, They were told 1963 was the manufacturing date

Does it have the Rekord trigger fitted?
It sounds pre 70's likely to be early sixties.

Mick- The one I saw on FB had a Rekord unit fitted, I searched for when the Rekord was introduced but couldn't find anything!

The Rekord trigger was introduced in 1955 and the HW35 in 1950 ,so there are HW35's without the Rekord trigger.
Before 1955 there where numerous trigger versions on the models 50,55 and 35.
Weihrauch started a new sequal of serial numbers in 1955 too, at the same time as they introduced the (now familiar) "long trigger block".
