They look ok, have yet to prove themselves I guess, but with the Combro you get the most fantastic after sales support, well beyond any warranty period and that must count for quite a lot, in my opinion.
Evening Chaps,
Anyone used one of these, was looking at getting a Combro but thought these sound interesting with the data upload facility, similar money to Combro, any thoughts or comments welcome before I take the plunge!

True freedom includes the freedom to make mistakes or do foolish things and bear the consequences.

Hmmm,
A lot of Combro fans here as I suspected.
I haven't owned either but I like the fact the Bluechron has a metal case and is USB rechargeable, I don't mind being a trailblazer with a new product but I wouldn't mind hearing that someone else has tried one and its as good as it looks
If you have an Android device maybe take a look at the Blueshot cable and download?

Timing clock is running at 16mhz but from what I've been told is susceptible to problems with varying light conditions effecting the results.
I like the idea that it can be plugged into the SD1000 to make a desk unit.
One of our club members has one and we'll be trying it out this Sunday with a view to replacing our Skan unit.

Nice one there,,,now How much is it going for chaps ,,I like my Combro ...
£59.95 for the BC50 on a popular internet auction site
There's also a higher specced model, the BC100 thats £79, its identical but can store the last 1000 shots. Interestingly, I've read that if you buy the BC50 and need the functions of the BC100 at a later stage, there will be a £20 chargeable firmware update available over the internet to upgrade it, thought that sounded like a cool idea!
I think I've talked myself into one
Might be worth hanging on for a while till the software is released as it will be bundled with the 100 unit foc for 3 - 6 months after which it will cost about £30.00.
That's what I'm going to do.

Maybe combro need to take note of this for research and development of the Mk 5 Combro?
These features sound cool.
