a gun is just a tool how its used is dependant on the person behind the trigger .
This is why constant restrictions on legal users will have no effect on the unlawfull use of guns or knives !
Typically, what sort of FPS are people getting with their Umarex Colt SAA's with BB's?
HI mate pretty good fps, of the top of my head I can't remember 380 I think but if you check my video review I tell you what I was getting with steel BBs, gamo lead balls and h&n copper coated lead BB's..

Some of my favourite guns in. You collection, Umarex Beretta 92fs - Colt Custom 1911 - Walther Lever Action - TM Hi-Capa Custom Build Project - Colt SAA .45 & many more..
They vary but I have seen over 400 on one of mine.
Thank's guys, the reason I ask is because I have seen a number of youtube reviews of them shooting 5 shot strings over a chrono' of well over 400 fps and in a couple of cases over 435 fps at an outside temperature of 20 degrees C.
I just wondered if UK owners were seeing the same figures, because if so, I would be more inclined to buy one myself.
Faster fps equals more interest in a bb gun in my book!

Despite my reservations about these revolvers I just went out to my local-ish gun shop and came home with the blued version!
I have to say, after shooting it I am more happy with it than is reasonable for an adult with a bb gun!
I was surprised to find that at 5 yards if I wait between shots it will generally put 5 out of 6 bb's through one side of a proper steel bean can and surprisingly accurately too ,where I am it's currently about 12 degrees C!
The overall finish of the bued gun is very pleasing, but it really was a toss up between the blued and nickel finished version that was also available in the shop.
I think I'll pop back there in a few days and add the nickel one to the collection!
They are pretty good
Don't forget there is an Antique one and a US Marshal model.
It's also best to have a pair of nickel ones
I reckon you'll be able to find something here,

You won't go far wrong with a John Beattie rig.

I have one and can attest to the man's skill and friendly service.

Is it possible to fire this SAA in the "fanning" way? i.e. holding the trigger and using your other hand to pull back and release the hammer. In the same way the real SAA can be used?

Not saying I'd want to do it, just curious if it's physically possible.
