    Air Arms Alfa Project Maintenance?

Can anyone please tell me what maintenance is required for my pistol? The owners handbook is no help at all for this. What should I lubricate with oil and what must not get oiled at all etc? Is silicon oil best? etc etc. Thanks in advance, Paul.

I too would be interested on any info' on this as I have just bought a nice used one (yet to test it) which will need servicing at some point.
I have seen "O" ring kits for sale on the auction site so they must be user serviceable.

    PCP or CO2 version?
PCP version, I wouldnt lubricate anything.
CO2: apply little oil on each new bulb. Replace piercercap O-ring when it fails

i have the pcp version and maintenance wise ive done nothing to it except tighted the rear sight block as was loose when brought from shop. ive also adjusted the power up but thats it. not alot of maintenance needed at least not in my experience with it or any other pcp pistol or rifle. its a great pistol and deadly accurate.
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

PCP air cylinder seal replacement Alfa Project

My air cylinder developed a leak and the culprit was the o-ring seal within the cylinder itself. This seal is not normally supplied in any kit form advertised on a well known auction site. Also, it’s not shown on any schematic diagram. I removed the offending seal and matched it up to one I already had and now the cylinder is fine.

I’m still awaiting a replacement Hammer Button Assembly, these have been on back-order from Air Arms since October 2023. I’ve managed to get one made to use temporarily until such time that they become available. I’m tempted to buy the one currently advertised on a well known auction site at a slightly inflated price if Arm Arms don’t deliver soon. Apparently the Hammer Button Assembly can be a problem on this pistol. Full o-ring kits are readily available on the well known auction site and contain seals that cause leaks that are not shown on the AA schematic drawing of this pistol ie within the pressure vessel. If you require details then please get in touch.

I would still recommend this pistol.
