Protek in Bognor Regis just keeps getting them in, they seem to sell loads.
Must be the 'Bond factor'...
Wonder how many were made? Just bought one off Apex Gun Parts website, which got another shipment in. I see them on a Polish website as well. Only manufactured for a few years in the 70s. They just seem to keep flowing out of Poland? Mine will arrive in a few days will be interesting to try, so economical.

No boxes - just lots of cases of Predom's wrapped in greaseproof paper - and very cheap too!
What looked like rust was just congealed grease that wiped off with some petrol (other solvents are available).

Perhaps hordes of former government stocks have been released and have found their way to surplus dealers. A similar thing happened with Haenel 310 rifles that were released by the former East Germany some time ago. Rifles could be found in as new condition relatively cheaply but have gone up in price as stocks have dwindled.
I guess now is a good time to buy a Predom pistol in fine fettle.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.
The price here in the US is $95 or 70 BP. That just seems so cheap but maybe when I get it in my hands I'll find out why? Lol

i clicked the link on your site for the pistol but it just seemed to go back to the home page
So where can I get a half decent one cheap in the UK then ?
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
Will these de value my LP53?.
In NZ the importer had cases of Predom parts. If you made up your own pistol it cost $35NZ .I bought two,one for Ron Young and t'other for myself.
Been selling in the market for 40 years already and had no affect on LP53 pricing as far as I can see.
