I would have thought that it would be simple enough as it's only a matter of removing the end plug, cutting, re-threading, and re-fitting the end plug,
Try asking the place where you bought it from.
Does anybody know if I can have my standard lenght S400 titanium air cylinder shortened, if this isn't possable, Does anybody know where I can have a Carbine one made ?
Phil

Why dont you buy a carbine length cylinder for S400 instead of trying to butcher a standard length one !!
Not so simple with a 'Titanium air cylinder'
I would buy one if I new where to go.

Why not? the main problelms with titanium relate to welding.Originally Posted by CoolermasterPro

Who made it ? get onto them to see if they'll shorten it for you.

Welding is easy compared to machineing, to get some one to set up, cut and re thread on a one off basis would cost a small fortune if you are not going to be left with a load of scrap.Originally Posted by Barrie_G
Dont let any one tell you its easy to machine, Titanium is a pain in the gear box.
