Falcon FN12 lighthunter is around 1lb lighter at 4.75 lb IIRC
Nice solid rifle to learn on if you can find one that hasn't been 'tinkered' with as they were a bit notorious for being adjusted to run hot!!
Chris
Is there anything lighter than the s200 available? I'm looking at getting my son involved with shooting, trouble being he is quite a dainty little thing. Rifle only, definitely not interested in pistols.
Cheers

Falcon Raptor (FN12) Lighthunter - Walnut FX Cutlas - EB XVI - HW35 'Karbine' - BSA Airsporter MK4 - Webley Mk III - Relum Tornado - FWB Sport 127 Deluxe - Crosman 1322 custom - Sussex Armoury Jackal - BSA Superstar - Logun Eagle (All .22) and HW80 in .25
Brocock Contour, no rifle can be any lighter than these
Bsa have just launched a junior version of the ultra with a shorter stock weighs about 5lb I think. called the ultra JSR

Nicest lightweight PCP I have ever seen is the Daystate LR90 Carbine with a skeleton stock. Unbelievably accurate and reliable
Bullpups have their weight further back and are less of a strain on the left arm for standing shots. Shorter too.
IIRC the S400K is lighter than the S200.

According to the AA website, supposedly not, thought that my wifes FX Vermy was lighter than her S200 (mk3), but again, it's not - certainly seems lighter, but it's probably because the weight (bottle) sits at the back - though the vermy will be the one I'll go for when my grandson is old enough, as it'll 'grow' with him
S400k is 0.1 pounds lighter according to the website.
S400k 5.7lbs and S200 5.8lbs.

kingratcher converted to hpa will be really light.
A Compatto wouldnt be a bad choice either.

I would go for a Brocock Contour single shot in .177 and the Walnut stock, the downside only 25 max shots
per fill .
I have owned one from new and I like it .
