weihrauch silencer is noticably quieter than the air arms ... you'll need an adaptor as well..i got mine from target sports..
Anyone found, that replacing the silencer on an AAS410k has really paid dividends, or has the replacement not been a lot different?
If you have found it worth while changing, what silencer would you recommend spending extra money on to do the best job?
Thanks in advance
Kirk

Another vote for the Weihrauch from me. I believe it to be quieter and my groups seemed to tighten by a fraction.

Fabricatum diem, pvnc!
I have a Sako rimfire silencer on mine and it works nicely.
I bought the 1/2" UNF adapter from BAR and frankly it's crap - although I did only pay a tenner for it.
Make sure that if buy a Weihrauch silencer and adaptor from Target Sports that you stipulate that the adaptor's thread be undercut. If it's not you will be unable to screw the moderator home properly.
I know from experience.

Thanks for the input chaps.
BAR best place to get the Weihrauch if I go down that route?

I've got a Rob Lane job on my s410k with a special short adaptor made by UK Neil.
It balances beautifully and is much quieter than the original AA silencer.

The HW is a very nice silencer. It is lighter than a Logun (although weight can equal stabalisation or make it front heavy) and shorter.
It is a matt finish and is aduibly quieter than the logun and both are quieter than the AA. There is not much in it tho between the HW and loggy
The finish overal is very good but I had to have 3 bites of the cherry before I got one that shot straight.
This was on my Steyr which shoots very tight at 55yds with the silencer on (logun) and the group moves up a fraction with it off.
The 3rd HW shot well and certainly good enough for hunting but it didnt group as tight as the Logun. This is a little bit nit picking as the group size would have certainly been tight enough to consider it for hunting.
I found the heavier Logun better for the shot/rifle and balance and the marginally tighter group made the small difference in sound footprint not worth swapping.
However, definitely worth purchasing.
Dave Allen at Hull Cartridge eventually got it sorted after a very long wait to have the first 2 tested. It would seem at least one did not have the entry and exit ports aligned.
The effect was dramatic......The pellet would not hit a 15 yard target box (note I said target box - not the target inside it) making it a Barn Door special. So if you get one that slipped through, be advised there may be one or two more so speak to dave allen to get help.
I am not having a dig at HW or Hull as my next rifle is likely to be an HW100

Had a very good report from COROVICD with regard to the Daystate Airstream silencer.
Anyone have any experience of these and know how they would compare to the HW or the Logun?

Any opinions on the Daystate Airstream compared to the HW or Logun Guys?
