Iv'e had both 177 & 22, preferred 22, i also have a 25 barrel for one.

I always had .177 because it has dual power settings then had a .22 barrel as a spare....just a thought!
this is a tricky pistol to be anything like target accuracy and im a confirmed
pistol lover. the quality is superb and as said the barrel swop is easy.
i found other pistols easier to be more accurate, shes relatively heavy and big.
most people like them for their power and butch German looks i feel.

I CAN RESIST EVERYTHING EXCEPT AN FWB,
I have HW45's in .177 and .22. Both have their benefits. The .177 is more accurate over a longer distance and as most people will be aware the HW45's have two cocking positions, one being at full power and one at around half power. The .177 is definitely the best one for making use of the dual power as the .22 is really too heavy to be launched at 2.5ftlb. On a more positive note for the .22, the destruction power for plinking creates huge back garden fun at 15-20 yards.
