Thanks guys, some good replies, seems there are quite a few of us with 'Holy Grail' rifles!
My latest and possibly ( most likely) my last 'Holy Grail' rifle (never say never or last ) may have to evade me for a while yet as due to me using all my Pension pot and a bit more besides to buy my Daughter a house for her Daughter and her to live in (she has just lost her long term rental) I am back to having no 'disposable income' or cash, possibly for a couple of years or more!
(But at least my Daughter and Grand daughter will have secure home accommodation until she is in a position to get a mortgage and 'buy me out'! )
Good luck with your 'Holy grail' rifles lads!

After purchasing and resqueing from the dead a Diana 58 3th series (1925) and owning a first modell (1915) allready () ,my holy grail would be the Diana 58 2th series (1920) .

When i was a youngun in 70s 80s HW80 was the holy grail, all i had was a gat gun, chinese plinker air rifle (but it was decent) and a milbro/deadshot catty, thats all i ever did as a lad was go shooting, was obsessed and still am lol.
My own choice would have to be a Mastersport FWB 124.

If nothing else, lifting and cocking one is good exercise .
My most desired were Theobens with the original slim silencers. I've managed to get some real beauties this year and I'm more than satisfied with my lot. I would like a Theoben Olympus if any of you can help!
Cheers
