When I bought my Sport I noticed on some diagrams, where the pivot bolt goes through the barrel there is a second washer on the opposite side to the dished washer yet on others it isn't shown. I decided to source one as mine didn't have one fitted. After fitting it I'm not sure whether it should be there as it is a tight fit. Can anyone confirm if this shim should be in place or not please?
Many thanks,
Gary.

Thanks Ian. I'll leave it in then.![]()
Have you tried adjusting the pivot bolt?
I set my break barrels without the spring as so the barrel falls under its own weight.

It falls with the lightest of touches so all is well. It's just that it's such a tight squeeze when fitting. I don't remember it being so tight on my last one (but that was 27 years ago so my memory may be playing tricks).
Thanks for your help fellas.![]()
So just to be clear - FWB Sports have a pair of shim washers on each side? A dished one and a flat one?
The only Sport I ever had, had the breech shims missing altogether, unfortunately.
That was a pretty sloppy fit, I can tell you.![]()

Mr Jones' photobucket link spammed me with too many adverts. I think he may have shares in the company.![]()
