OK, a much wider "arc of pull" but a similar operation to using a rifle bolt on a rimfire or centrefire rifle with the rifle and your body remaining in the same position !
Yeah, I can see a side-lever in a prone position when hunting being useful but, the amount of times I would find myself in that position would be quite rare.

I must admit I am tempted with the AA Mistral as its relatively rare now and is in superb condition. The only shame is that the original open sights are missing. Things like that put me off (maybe wrongly) as i'm pretty finicky when it comes to things being complete. A lovely gun though
