I hollered "don't look Ethel" but it was too late

Much fun and banter last night, chaps.

This morning me and Jack tested the potato cannon using carrots instead of potatoes. Being slightly harder and tighter fit in the barrel they worked like a dream At twenty yards they were hitting my stainless steel backstop with one helluva clang. We decided in the name of experimentation we would fire it at what is left of Jacks snowman. An inch long piece of carrot makes it through no less than 9inches of compacted snow creating a huge entry "wound". Great fun
Sounds like great fun, Mike.
It's also sounding like Jack is feeling well again; nothing like a bit of shooting therapy for speedy recuperation.
It's thawing nicely here and little Bremby dog looked a whole lot happier when she went out earlier.

Jimbos first confirmed kill with an air rifle was a snowman. On one of the permissions in about a foot of snow. He would have been about age six, cleanly taken with a 20 yard headshot shooting my s410k off a bipod
