Does anyone in the UK own an Argentinian Shark airgun? I just stumbled across this marvelously functional-looking .22 CO2 slide action rifle they made.

Shark made the first production gas ram rifles. later copied by Theoben and now others. They are to blame for all those broken scopes
It's interesting Argentina has an airgun maker like Shark, I wonder if there are legal reasons they started up? I would have thought that their laws would make .22 rimfire ownership easy, but maybe not so... It is usually the firearms-restricted countries (post-war West Germany, the UK, Japan) that produce the 'adult' airguns.
Whatever the reason they made, it looks like bloomin' good fun to me. Is it still a current model or discontinued?

I have tracked down the manufacturer Mr José León Suárez in Argentina, he has a facebook page and will converse with you through that medium! Some boss looking cannons on the page ...

My 2014 copy of the "Blue Book" suggests they were made from 1991, and still produced when it was published.
But the "Blue Book" isn't 100% reliable as a source.
Cool thing, though.
Thanks for the links, it looks even more fun on YouTube! So much fun in fact that I bet even if it were limited in power it would probably break some rule or other here

These look fun. https://www.facebook.com/armasshark/...621957/?type=3
Local gun laws can make for strange airguns. I have Philippine magazines from years back describing pcp-co2 self defense airguns. Some pretty wild stuff, which I think got shut down but could be wrong on that.
