Not laughing, I got given one when the licensing came in up here and have to admit I really like it. Sure it's a bit rough and it's never going to be perfect but I have a thing for engineering oddities, would jump at a Park RH91/3 or a Parker-Hale Dragon given the chance. Once I have a bit more cash I have a whole list of oddities.
I've been putting a few things to one side so I can start my project....but was thinking how handy these would be if we could get them in the right bleeding size Need one similar https://imgur.com/gallery/roIVib1

I was going to put one around the 52 for a front mount but have ordered a cheap long weaver rail an extended base that's going to be milled flat and married to the rail..... I have it all worked out in my head (got a bit boring talking to people at work so I used my powers of thought )

I think we are of a similar approach - though mine is just on the back of an envelope at the moment. I think I'm aiming for less wood - more 'stripped down'.
Based on a suggestion from another member, i'll probably cut out a model of the action in MDF (i tend to have quite a lot of offcuts around the workshop), and then work on the outline of the stock to accept it to see how it fits. The Donor is hopefully going to be an Air Arms sidelever that Binners has suggested when I see him at Kempton end September.

I made the stock the 52 now sits in (at the mo) so the wood parts easy I'm going down the birch ply route making a clam shell due to the long bolt holes ....should be done in time for next years bbs
