Just flipped through a 1982 edition of Airgun World
The Meteor and Super Meteor advertised around the £35 mark, along with the boxed Scorpion pistol, complete with accessories.
According to the October 1979 issue of Airgun World, you could get Meteor from Don Gray in Chatham for £23.50, or a Super Meteor for £27.75. Also has an article about some weird pneumatic tranquilizer gun made by some bloke called Don Lownds (their spelling).
