Made UTube on my new Hubertus Air Pistol

These are such strange guns thought I would make a UTube about how it fires. Oddest gun I own?

Really nice air pistol and great video, thank you.
I'm not into (air) pistols but I certainly wouldn't mind owning this one!
It has the "cool factor". A good one to impress friends and family.
    Is the barrel rifled?
    And where were these made?

Yes the barrel is rifled, made in Germany 1925-35. .177 is most common but also in .22. Someone said you can make a game out of just seeing who can load it? Lol

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for posting the link and sharing the video clip of this quirky German air pistol. it's hard to imagine a more complicated and maybe slightly dangerous cocking mechanism than that of the Hubertus.

I also have an example of the earlier small frame Hubertus which you don't see very often here in the UK.

    Regards
    Brian

Thanks videos are fun and easy. The rest of the story on this is when I got home from the auction last week, I found the gun had a sawed off barrel that had been badly repaired. Really didn’t work, probably why it was in good condition. Happen that I bought a junker cheap one for parts a couple of years ago, only good part of the gun was the barrel! Sometimes life works out.

it amazes me that these pistols manage to shoot a pellet, especialy in the .22 with such a short spring for power.

Superb German quality nail clippers. Highly recommended. Yes, I play guitar, too. Gotta keep those fretting nails cut close.

Your comment sparked a recollection that I might have something in the collection.... went to look and sure enough... a nice 4-page Snider brochure. Importer located in Philadelphia.

    Still no scanner. Sorry.

I pick the strings with the long ones, those are the ones they just can’t keep from commenting on.
