Sincere thanks again for all support. This is getting quite exciting now.
Thanks to the good support on here and a seal kit from Ped got around to assembling the 140.
Wow! Wow! What a great fun thing it is.
Came as part of a job lot and did nothing with it till now. Makes power easily and really accurate. Rang the 6 mm bell challenge at 15 yds after a few ranging shots.
Could a white spacer be 3d printed to replace the piece missing from front end.
I think one of the US suppliers has them (could be precision pellet) but I was looking at milling one in ally and one in brass but not sure if it would be viable to do
Just needs an end plug behind the loading port/probe. Easy enough but someone may have a spare.
You will want this. Has ever scrap of paper Crosman ever published on the subject.

Regarding the barrel spacer. I've seen some shops that have this but usually black not the white. The Crosman service shops never had any of the special parts for the Sears, Wards models.
Yes, the model Town and Country 107/108 had a machined brass barrel spacer.
Regarding other sourcing. I suspect that this type of plastic extrusion is available off-the-shelf for some special commercial applications. Might be worth a look to see if something could be found in a plastic/fixture supply house.
