Give Ben Taylor a call he's your .20cal man i believe
as title, got a .22 s400 comeing my way, and would love to convert it to .20

i will do that, but someone on here must have some idea of wether its a go'er or not
You'd have to change or modify the probe and bolt housing as well as the barrel, and work on the hammer spring.
AA don't do these parts, so it would have to be a specialist job. Sounds a lot of hassle. IMO you'd be better off getting a dedicated .20 rifle.

I know Ben does convert Rapids to .20 cal for about £180 so I don't see why he wouldn't be able to help you out .
Off the top of my head you'd need:
A .20 barrel turning to fit the action,
A .20 breech transfer port assembly making or modifying from a .177 one,
A .20 bolt making or modifying from a .22 item,
and a bit of fiddling with the valving (could probably get away with doing it on the transfer port adjuster) to get the muzzle energy right.
Sounds a lot of hassle. IMO you'd be better off getting a dedicated .20 rifle.

now wheres the fun in that
once i get the gun, i'll have a look at sorting it
thanks all

I think you will find that converting an AA to .20 would be too expensive as AA don't offer a .20 variant themselves. Worth phoning Ben Taylor because he will give you all the facts and he likes the AA400 series as well!
