Apparently early SAS/Malayan scouts shot darts at each other with air rifles while practicing Jungle stalking.
That sounds like great fun. Note the fencing masks.

I had heard they used Webley Juniors, but perhaps they just used what they could find locally.

Bottom one more likely a full size CZ236 like the one in link below but hard to be sure. They have a manual safety at the back of the receiver/action which you flick from left to right or vice versa.
