Anything from brocock
Dave.
What are the best known faulty from new rifle problems ?
BSA - 'transient charge ' - leaked from new (Spitfire)
HW Galling (various)
OK cmon folks - don't be shy
Looking for TO-6 Trigger unit unmessed with or T0-6 kit for 34

BSA R10 regulators.
Don't Daystate have bit a reputation for leaking?
Kral np02 accuracy issues same day out of the box --sent back tree weeks later returned out of the box leaked -sent back two weeks later back for two days later leaked -back again 7 weeks later returned after chasing it up--one week later leaked again -back for four days then when it came back I sold it --just no confidence in it at all so kraal's are out the market for me now
That's a shame. My fave .22 is the puncher breaker bullpup. The barrels are crudded to high heaven when new and need a ruddy good rodding before they will group well, but group well they will.
Had a NP-02 before. Neither leaked!
Had a BSA Ultra XL which was very poor from new and went back.
BSA R10th which leaked from new
FX Dreamline Compact from new - trigger sear not engaging and safety not working - From NEW!
So lately for me the cheap Turkish stuff has been more reliable!
Daystate Air Ranger FAC - Kral Bullpup & NP03 - CZ 452 .22lr - Lithgow 17hmr - Remington 783 .223 - Franchi 612vs 12G - Renato Gamba 12G O/U - Hatsan Escort 12G
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.....
Webley Hawk Mk 2, from nearly (few months old) new, BITD. Stock broke, virtually every moving part wore out.
2014 Weihrauch HW35, trigger issues, very rough firing cycle. Back under warranty. Still noisy/twangy. Apart from a Bears A&se rough Airsporter, probably my least favourite rifle to shoot. It can be very accurate, just not nice to shoot.
Scope rails on Webley Falcons, Mk3s. Thanks for reminding me, Geezer!

Webley Mk3 x2, Falcon & Junior rifles, HW35x2, AirSporter x2, Gold Star, Meteors x2, Diana 25. SMK B19, Webley Senior, Premier, Hurricane x 2, Tempest, Dan Wesson 8", Crosman 3576, Legends PO8.
NP02 loads of bad barrels - bad batch ?
HW100 bad barrel batch too
B2 - stupidly oversize transfer port
LGU - over small TP causes excessive piston bouce and premature spring failure
The perfect trigger
Most magnum diana's throttled for the UK market with that stupid restrictor, so shoot horribly until it's removed and they are setup correctly
most Korean PCPs throttled for 12 FP have no power curve - just a gradual descent - need setting up properly
a few Kral PCPs same as above
Some brococks also the same
Krals with massive excessively heavy hammers (originally designed for FAC) creating ridiculously poor air usage and noise
Diana Mauser 98 stupidly front heavy, and short LOP stock (why, it could have been so good)
HW35 porous breech
O-ringed BSA piston heads that are so stupidly tight it just doesn't work properly, especially in meteors as the tubes are not round/smooth (parachute seal transforms them)
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
HW35 porous breech, until they fixed it.
Droopy barrels, for which Dianas get singled out, but far from the only culprit.
Any break barrel using a cross-pin rather than an adjustable bolt.
The FWB Sport trigger/safety mechanism. And the lock-up.
BSF triggers, which seem designed to wear to a point of not being safe. Though can be adjusted successfully.
The plastic used on the Milbro Cougar.
Almost every aspect of the IGI/Gun Toys/Panther RO71 and 72.
Scope rails on Webley Falcons, Mk3s.
Yer mate I did give it a very good clean soon as it was out of the box got loads im mean tons of crud out ----
Yes sounded like mine was one of them when it first went back I asked what was the problem they said they changed the barrel as some riffling was missing near the end ----it has put me well off them I thought it was a good idea at the time to treat myself to a new gun for a change as I cant remember the last new gun I got myself --it was going to be a keeper ended up far from that
I wonder if HW actually admit to the porous breach / brazing on the HW35 at that time or take the usual 'we never make any mistakes and everything we make is perfect' line ..!
Looking for TO-6 Trigger unit unmessed with or T0-6 kit for 34
Anyone know anything about Daystate valving - ??????????????/
Looking for TO-6 Trigger unit unmessed with or T0-6 kit for 34
HW100, power dropped to 7ftlbs in my first week of ownership, returned for service and started leaking two weeks later
BSA R10 Mk1, power output all over the place. Replaced with a brand new gun with ‘upgraded internals’ according to my local gun shop. Been absolutely spot on since, never had a problem with the replacement
One fault that is not popular when mentioned is the cocking link cracking on the HW77/97 especially as there is no ABT and the one that bothers me as I like them and would have bought one, is the linkage and cocking lever on the PS.
