There's another thread that says this is on the 16th October, but this thread says it's on the 23rd.

Can someone confirm which it is ?

ADLINGTON is on the 16th of October.
MELBOURNE is on the 23rd - a week later. A totally different venue but similar fair.

There is also a thread on another forum that states the club have lost the venue for club meets but are HOPING to hold a fair this year.

Everything is getting a little confusing

'Hoping' referred to the grey area surrounding Lockdown and COVID. During that period when no-one, not even the government at that time, knew what was happening next week never mind 6 months in advance.

ADLINGTON AIRGUN FAIR, Lancashire (NOT to be confused with Melbourne AGF Midlands) will be held on Sat 16th Oct '21 as mentioned in the General Section and another post in the Collectors section.

I hope that clarifies both these event.

According to a poster on another airgun forum (dated 23Aug 21) the doors open at 10.00am.

I went to Melbourne with the intention of selling a few nice rifles surplus to my collection (Haenel 302, Meteor, Mercury etc.).

Instead, I came away with a very nice BSF 70 and an even nicer BSF54. Bad, bad people.

Hi there John, sorry to hear that you're out of fettle, hope you're feeling better soon.

Paul and I did the round trip from Durham, a little over 300 miles, Busy day, moved on a few old friends from the collection and enjoyed the chat. Some great folks there and most of them seemed pleased to have an opportunity to increase their collections after the lockdown.
The organisers have done a great job again..
