    Show us your groups

Spent the day clearing out a shed as you do. Found some targets that were a bit damp, but ok.

Thought I'd have half an hour in the garden with the HW100. Well I say the garden, I'm shooting over next doors at an angle from mine. (Bungalow is being knocked down, so I can do as I like over there. Even better when its gone, I'll have a range of 60mts...)

Anyhoo, 46 mts AA Diabolo Field 8.4 grains.
HW100 A&M Cylinder, single shot tray, Optisan Taipan 4-16x50 46mts MTM K-Zone Rifle Bench Rest. 10 pellets No wind

    Not too shabby....

Shame you didn't start this last week I've just burned a file full of old targets so not many left

Rapid .20 testing pellets with/without shroud extension, 28yds (zero) sitting, unsupported, steady pace

Scorpion .25, pellet testing, 25yds, mag of 8, sitting unsupported, steady pace

steady pace means just work the bolt & shoot, 8-10 seconds shot to shot, so not rapid fire but not faffing about either.

More Scorpion .25 pellet testing again 25yds, mag of 8, sitting, unsupported, steady pace

There was a bit of a gap in the weather today, so I gave the Kral Pro 500 another go. Swapped the Hawke for a Nikko Sterling TargetMaster 6-24x50
At least I can see the target now.
    Really pleased with the outcome
    AA Diabolo Field 4.52
    46 mts

Now for the big surprise of the day
    Kral Puncher Maxi
    MTC Viper 6-24x56
    46 mts
The light was fading and I could only just make out the Bull. I fired 10 shots at it and thought I'd missed the target completely.
    Anyhoo
That pellet is an AA field 4.52 for reference
To say I was pleased is an understatement

All of these were benchrested with the MTM K-Zone Rifle Bench Rest. So I was just the rifles against the target and the only human input was me squeezing the trigger. I'm a pretty bad shot with an air rifle these days, My eyes are fading pretty fast.

The point of this thread is to demonstrate just what you can do with an outfit costing about 4 to 500 quid. The HW setup in the first post if you were to buy it new, would set you back the thick end of £1400

My biggest gripe is "Youtubers" that shoot a group 20 mts the size of a 50p and call it a fantastic gun I'm talking about some bloke with an FX.

I'll do the other 8 when the weather chills out..

I'm not going to bother with the Stealths for the obvious reasons....
