Well, I finally did it. Shot my Combro. I've had it over 10 years so consider I've done quite well really ...
Anyway, I'm going to send it off to them to be fixed, I've heard nothing but good things about thier customer service. But it got me thinking, maybe with a budget of £150, what would be an upgrade? If anything? I'm thinking one that I could maybe put further downrange to see how the power holds up after a distance etc.

I have a Caldwell chronograph. Very good but won't work under florescent lighting.
I also have a cheap Chinese chronograph. that does work under florescent lighting, and at this time of the year gets the most use.
Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.
If you want down range readings, you have the choice of putting your chrono down range, shielding it and working out how to read it if it is not a forward facing display OR
look at dopler radar such as the FX model ..... around 150 or labradar at about 400 plus .... maybe more.
They track the projectile down range. The labradar likely to be the better but at that price, so it should.
In a battle of wits I refuse to engage with an unarmed person.
To one shot one kill, you need to seek the S. Kill only comes from Skill
Skan every time.
only if you fancy your chances !
Another vote for the skan for an extra £50. Have used one out to 45 yards with a protection guard in front, although I never did hit it.

Current airguns:- Steyr LG110: Steyr LP10: Air Arms HFT500: Weihrauch97 fully customised.
You could use an old mobile as target cam and connect it with a tablet or phone using the alfred app for android. Not sure if they do it for apple phones.
The get thick poly carbonate to protect the chrono display if using something like the chrony type chrono's.
Mark, Combro service is outstanding (speak from 3 times personal knowledge . The latest was about 6 months ago...)
I bought a chrony, it's very good but just gives you velocity- you have to do the rest. Okay downrange but the fiddle of setting up so you get a shot in the right place will send you to an asylum
So as long as it's working I always use the combro!
Hope all is well long time no see.
video transferred to DVD, USB etc. Old negs and photos scanned to digital media

Cant see why not, Myself I would make a plate to cover in case of any misses, I've got the old version which is like a shoe box, Can run from battery , Sure the new ones have shot memory or just use a mobile phone, I used to use a mobile phone when shooting my mk2 pheonix quickly at distance,
