    I've tried different ways of posting the all the details, so hopefully it looks OK for everyone.....


    The bold font appears quite large on my iPhone, and when I edit the thread using the 'table' from the Forum tools using my HP laptop, it appears differently when it's saved and 'live'.

    The large gaps on the thread between the different comps are not apparent on my 'edit' page......it's all a bit of a learning curve for me to see what works and look right


    I welcome any comments and thoughts from our members regarding the format and appearance

    Yup - I shot my first round of the 6yd MPL Air Pistol with my 1970 (ish) HW70 with some equally old RWS Hobby pellets that were still in their original orange moulded plastic tin. These orange plastic "tins" were later replaced by the metal tins they come in today - but have had at least 2 different printed tin lid designs after the original plastic "tin" and before the current Hobby tin - although the pellet shape still looks the same?

    I may well have "maxed-out" with what I can achieve with this HW70 and Hobby pellet combo, so I might try an ASI Centra or a Walther LP53 in the next round? Its all for fun and a great excuse for me to shoot some of my "oldies" that may not see the light of day without the excuse to shoot them in the MPL

    Congratulations to Marboc - he is squeezing out some very nice scores with his Predom (a very close Polish copy of a Walther LP53). Good effort!

    Hello. Thank you for the kind words. Years of working with this animal. I am afraid of every FWB . The Walther LP53 is a bit better than my Archer.

    I have a HW40, and it is a nice gun to use.

    Good sights and good trigger with enough power for target shooting.

    I find that the first stage of the trigger pull is a bit too long for my liking, but the second stage and let-off are precise and consistent.

    You can still shoot the January cards, and I am waiting for quite a few to come in, so won’t be updating the scores for a week or so yet.

    Hopefully your FAS will be up and running again soon and you can shoot February cards too.
