). Citizen K's eagle eyes (pun intended) have turned up the first known pics of this brutish example of Japanese ingenuity... Note: the strap holding the front of the frame to the air cylinder is not a repair job. They were actually made like that originally.

This shows the advantage of catalogue pictures, as without them you would swear that the band was some amateur's cack-handed repair.
